Overview
Sesame Seeds are tiny little seeds that are gotten from a Sesame flowering plant in the genus Sesamum. It is harvested in different colours ranging from white to brown and black, and is sold by Sesame Seeds exporters in Nigeria as unhulled (natural) or hulled. Our sesame business is one of the largest in the Country.

Sourcing
Over the years we have built exceptional sesame sourcing networks across Africa that includes local farming communities, large grower, cooperative and local trader networks.
We have strengthened our ability to control the quality and cost of raw materials by contract farming, reserve rotation, auction bidding and more.
We have also started to actively set up bases in the main sesame producing areas and we buy seeds from small and large scale farmers and collectors as well.
Sesame Processing
At Diosis sesame we produce hulled and unhulled sesame products for oil crushing and commercial baking and condiments. We have invested in state-of-the-art facilities where we process sesame and related products. We have also established product testing programmes in-house for testing for Aflatoxin To clean our sesame product and to remove any impurity we have also established a cleaning centre for sesame seed to assure our customer that they are buying clean sesame product.
